Parmarth Niketan Ashram is 32 km from the resort, as is Deoprayag, the confluence of the true Ganges, while Triveni Ghat is 18 km away. Jolly Grant Airport is 52 km from the property.
This property is on a mountain escarpment strategically located and extendsthe way down to the Ganges(Ganga) and beachrecreation, aarti ceremony and picnic lunch bbq can be provided. The property therefore has meandering paths and country style paths and steps and will not suit those who have walking or back and knee issues. For those who have such problems however if they desire to come and stay for long stays without daily walks, special "carry the person arrangements" can be made for "once in" and "once out of property" at additional fees
Birds Butterflies and Botany Park
The estate has been nurtured to provide refuge to birds, butterflies , bees and insects as these form an integral part of any healthy biosphere. Policies such as no pesticide use in order to protect these species and smaller entomology are part of the ethos and visitors will enjoy watching and hearing these species
The property attracts wildlife, including wild boar. The sound of leopard and goral antelope may be heard across the river. We have preserved this as a mini biosphere and therefore would like you to enjoy it for the sounds and sights of birds and wildlife, and disallow electronic music but allow guitars etc without electronic acoustics.
